Experience Matters

ed-goodwin-windermere-broker

I am a full-time Broker with Windermere Real Estate in Poulsbo, WA. I have over 13 years of experience in real estate, working with buyers, sellers, and investors, helping to make their real estate goals a reality. My process is simple and straightforward. I listen to what your real estate goals are. Once they are established, I will work with you to develop a comprehensive plan to achieve your goals using up-to-the-minute market data. We then put that plan into action, and I handle the transaction details in a timely and professional manner, keeping you informed through the entire process.

More about me: I live in Indianola, WA, with my wife, June, and dog, Domino. Like a good deal of people I have met out here, our story is a familiar one. We came out here to visit with family in February of 2014, and by December of 2014, we were living here. What can I say? There is something magical about the Pacific Northwest, and living here is wonderful. Originally from New Jersey, I spent over 33 years as a Union Carpenter working in Atlantic City at the Claridge Casino/Hotel and Bally’s Park Place Casino. During that time, in 2002, I became a licensed real estate agent and started working in real estate, knowing that I wanted to pursue a career as a full-time agent when I retired from the Carpenters Union.

Experience matters!  My background in the trades has given me a unique perspective and understanding of what it takes to build a house. I was a first-time home buyer at one time and realized the importance of sound professional advice. As a father who, along with my wife, raised three children, I know the importance of having that place to call home and what it's like to pack up all those memories and move on. Dealing with the real-life challenges of an aging parent is also a reality I’m familiar with. Using this life experience, coupled with my real estate experience, is a win-win for those I serve. Not to mention the fact that after 33+ years of marriage, my negotiating skills are excellent!

Community: I have volunteered with Windermere Real Estate-sponsored events, including Kites over Kingston and our annual Shred Fest. I've also helped out on a couple of projects in Indianola for the Indianola Beach Improvement Club. Also, I am a member of the Kingston Historical Society and serve as a Local Director on the Board of the Kitsap County Association of Realtors. In the past, I have coached youth baseball and spent 15 years volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America.
